International Competition Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, under the administration of ILSA, brings together international law students from across the globe. Already in its 59th year, Jessup is the world's largest international competition for law students, attending over 700 Universities worldwide. The international rounds will be held on 1 to 8 April 2018 at the Hyatt Regency in Kapitol Hill, Washington, DC.

The competition consists of a case in which the group of students of the law "Bedër" University College composed of: Albi Çela, Angji Agushi, Ornela Bego, Thoma Kristo and Ermelinda Gjeci will represent Albania in this competition edition.

Faced with the judges of the International Court of Justice, students will present the arguments prepared on the Case Concerning the Egart and the Ibra, which includes topics on the validity of an interstate arbitration award, sovereignty, territorial waters violation, the nuclear war regime, use of force, international humanitarian law, etc. The team has researched and prepared substantive verbal arguments to represent any aspect of the dispute.

Prior to the departure for us, D.C organized a public pleading, where they presented their arguments before the students and the academic faculty of the university. This is so that the team prepares and contributes to maintaining the tradition of Moot Court in Bedër.
